Bush impersonator Steve Bridges dead at 48

LOS ANGELES, March 5 (UPI) -- Comic actor and President George W. Bush impersonator Steve Bridges has died in his Los Angeles home, his brother said. He was 48.

Phillip Bridges told the Los Angeles Times his brother appeared to have died of natural causes Saturday and, although an autopsy is scheduled, foul play is not suspected.

Steve Bridges was a frequent guest on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and he appeared alongside the real Bush at the 2006 White House Correspondents' Association dinner.

The Dallas native also impersonated President Bill Clinton, California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and other public figures, the Times said.
