LOS ANGELES, March 3 (UPI) -- Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, the star of MTV's "Jersey Shore," is dropping some bad habits as she allegedly gets squared away for motherhood, sources tell TMZ.com.
As media reports have surfaced alleging the 24-year-old party princess is about three months pregnant, she apparently has quit drinking and no longer chases boys, TMZ said.
Polizzi comes from a close family, which sources said is making it easier for her to adapt to the responsible lifestyle of single motherhood.
As for the rest of the "Jersey Shore" gang, the change in her status from carouser to a more serious lifestyle is likely to trigger an overall shift in the show. Polizzi and co-star Jwoww, real name Jennifer Farley, will be spinning off another reality series that focuses on their evolution into presumably responsible adults.
TMZ said, however, that doesn't necessarily mean Polizzi will be marrying her boyfriend.
