NEW YORK, March 3 (UPI) -- U.S. actress-singer Lindsay Lohan will give NBC's "Saturday Night Live" an operatic opening when she sings her monologue, sources told TMZ.com.

Lohan will open the show Saturday by belting out a tune that will likely be peppered with plenty of references to her off-screen legal woes.

Members of the cast will be on stage with her to carry out the chorus duties, the sources said, and Lohan has also invited some of her Hollywood pals to join her.

"SNL" will mark a high-profile return to the spotlight for Lohan following months of court dates, hearings and community-service hours put in at the Los Angeles County morgue. TMZ said she put in hours of rehearsal time this week in preparation for Saturday night's live show.
