Banderas, Kidman to be Globes presenters

HOLLYWOOD, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Nicole Kidman and Natalie Portman have been booked as presenters for Sunday's Golden Globe Awards show in Hollywood.

Also confirmed to hand out prizes at the event are Jake Gyllenhaal, Melissa McCarthy, Clive Owen and Freida Pinto.

British comedian Ricky Gervais is to serve as host of the ceremony at The Beverly Hilton. The show will air on NBC.

"We are thrilled to have these talented individuals join us," Hollywood Foreign Press Association President Dr. Aida Takla-O'Reilly said in a statement Monday. "Each will bring something very special to this year's show."

"This is a prestigious group of charismatic stars that fits perfectly with our reputation as Hollywood's 'party of the year,'" said Barry Adelman, executive vice president of television at Dick Clark Productions and executive producer and writer of the Golden Globes.
