'Common Law' gets January air date

NEW ORLEANS, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- USA Network said Tuesday it has set a January premiere date for its new police drama "Common Law," starring Michael Ealy and Sonya Walger.

The 12-episode, 1-hour series also will co-star Warren Kole and Jack McGee.

Currently in production in New Orleans, the show is to debut Jan. 26.

"Despite their differences, they are still the best detectives on the force but when things come to a head on the eve of their 'seven-year itch,' their captain forces them into couples' therapy to save their 'marriage,'" the network said in a synopsis.
