LOS ANGELES, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Estranged "Real Housewives" husband Tareq Salahi says his wife, Michaele, is literally killing their ailing family dog with her departure.
TMZ.com said Saturday that Rio, the Salahi's Doberman pinscher, has apparently been in a huge funk since his mom flew off to hang with rocker Neal Schon of Journey in Tennessee earlier this week.

Michaele and Tareq, the once-dashing couple who may or may not have crashed a White House state dinner a few years ago, have apparently been on the rocks since Michaele dumped Tareq for Schon.
Rio has been dragged into the fray. TMZ said Tareq claims the depressed Doberman suffers from a terminal heart problem and now can't even drag himself out of bed.
