Actor Anthony Michael Hall arrested in LA

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 7 (UPI) -- Actor Anthony Michael Hall was arrested after his neighbor accused him of disturbing the peace, the Los Angeles Police Department said Tuesday.

Hall, 43, is a former teen star best known for his roles in the films "Vacation," "Sixteen Candles," "The Breakfast Club" and "Edward Scissorhands." He starred on TV's "The Dead Zone" from 2002 to 2007 and appeared in the 2008 blockbuster "The Dark Knight," but has appeared in relatively few projects in recent years.

E! News said Hall was booked on suspicion of disturbing the peace Monday after a confrontation with a fellow resident at his Los Angeles condominium complex.

Hall's publicist could not be reached for comment regarding the alleged incident, E! News said.
