Spike and Cordelia head to 'Supernatural'

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 17 (UPI) -- Former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel" co-stars Charisma Carpenter and James Marsters are to play a married couple on the U.S. series "Supernatural."

Carpenter played Cordelia on "Buffy" and "Angel," while Marsters played Spike.

TVGuide.com said Wednesday Carpenter and Marsters will appear in the fifth episode of Season 7 of "Supernatural."

Sera Gamble, the show's executive producer, told TVLine the episode could be summed up as "'Bewitched' gone wrong."

The new season is to kick off Sept. 23 on The CW network.
