LOS ANGELES, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Holly Robinson Peete and Leah Remini won't return to "The Talk" when the chat show starts up its second season next month, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Co-hosts Julie Chen and Sara Gilbert will return to the roundtable-style talk show, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.

Their fellow co-host Sharon Osbourne has previously announced she will return next season, but will take a break so she can spend time with her rocker husband Ozzy Osbourne, who is finishing an extensive concert tour.

The Hollywood Reporter said the departures of actresses Peete and Remini are part of a plan to re-tool the program. Specifically why those two women would not be returning wasn't reported.
