Actress Sarah Drew is pregnant

LOS ANGELES, July 27 (UPI) -- Sarah Drew's publicist has confirmed the U.S. television actress is pregnant.

Drew plays Dr. April Kepner on the TV medical drama "Grey's Anatomy."

Her representative told UsMagazine.com she is expected to deliver the baby in January. The child will be the first for Drew and her husband Peter Lanfer, who teaches at Dartmouth and UCLA.

The show's producers told E! News they have "not determined" whether Kepner, who famously has never had sex, will be pregnant on the show.
