NEW YORK, June 23 (UPI) -- John Turturro has signed on to direct "Relatively Speaking," three one-act plays by Ethan Coen, Elaine May and Woody Allen, on Broadway this fall.

The show's producers said Thursday previews are to begin Sept. 20, while an official opening night is planned for Oct. 20.

The ensemble cast of the world premiere production at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre will include Julie Kavner, Caroline Aaron, Bill Army, Lisa Emery, Ari Graynor, Steve Guttenberg, Danny Hoch, Fred Melamed, Grant Shaud and Marlo Thomas.

"Relatively Speaking" is described in press notes as "three one-act comedies springing from a different branch of the family tree."

"In 'Talk Therapy,' Ethan Coen uncovers the sort of insanity that can only come from family. In 'George is Dead,' Elaine May explores the hilarity of death. And in 'Honeymoon Motel,' Woody Allen invites you to the sort of wedding day you won't forget," a synopsis said.
