Lachey, Minnillo throw posh wedding shower

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., May 31 (UPI) -- Entertainer Nick Lachey and fiance, television personality Vanessa Minnillo, marked their nuptial with a posh shower in West Hollywood, Calif., guests report.

Guests at the rooftop evening shower at the London Hotel dined on dishes prepared by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay in his hotel kitchen and danced to a variety of music played by a DJ, People.com reported Monday.

"Everyone seemed to have a great time. It was a laid back, yet sophisticated atmosphere," one attendee told People. "Guests danced until the late hours."

Another person reported the couple "seemed very excited to celebrate with their families and friends."

The wedding is scheduled for later this year.
