LOS ANGELES, April 4 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor Tom Selleck has filmed his seventh TV movie as Police Chief Jesse Stone, CBS announced Monday.

Co-starring Kathy Baker, Stephen McHattie, William Devane, William Sadler, Saul Rubinek and Kohl Sudduth, "Jesse Stone: Innocents Lost" is to air on the network May 22.

The series of TV movies includes "Stone Cold," "Jesse Stone: Night Passage," "Jesse Stone: Death in Paradise," "Jesse Stone: Sea Change," "Jesse Stone: Thin Ice" and "Jesse Stone: No Remorse."

The films are based on characters created by the late Robert B. Parker in his best-selling series of books.

The latest installment in the small-screen franchise finds Stone investigating the death of a teenage girl and unofficially involved in the case of a convicted murderer he thinks may be innocent. He's also battling his familiar dual demons: alcohol and his ex-wife, CBS said in a synopsis.
