Rinna fired from 'Celebrity Apprentice'

NEW YORK, March 14 (UPI) -- Actress and reality TV personality Lisa Rinna became the second star eliminated from Season 4 of "The Celebrity Apprentice" in New York.

Rinna's firing Sunday from the business-themed competition series came after her team lost a challenge to write a children's book and present it to a group of kids.

"When you lose you have to pick up the chips and I don't think you really picked up the chips," "Apprentice" judge Donald Trump told Rinna at the end of Sunday's episode. "Lisa, you're fired."

Still in the running are La Toya Jackson, Star Jones, Gary Busey, Meat Loaf, Hope Dworaczyk, NeNe Leakes, Marlee Matlin, Niki Taylor, Dionne Warwick, Jose Canseco, Richard Hatch, Lil Jon, Mark McGrath and John Rich.

Former teen idol David Cassidy was the first celebrity to get the boot this season.
