Olbermann starts Web site, targets Fox

NEW YORK, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Keith Olbermann has started a Web site directly aimed at his ideological enemies at Fox News.

The former MSNBC host launched the FOK News Channel Friday, The Washington Post reported. It stands for "Friends of Keith" but is also an off-color play on the News Corp. cable channel.

A few days earlier, Olbermann announced on Twitter, "proud to announce: Coming very very soon -- your FokNewsChannel Web site."

After suddenly quitting MSNBC, where he hosted "Countdown," Olbermann signed on to join CurrentTV, the network founded by former Vice President Al Gore and businessman Joel Hyatt. He is the network's chief news officer and plans to host a one-hour prime-time program there.
