Isaacs lands role in NBC pilot

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 21 (UPI) -- British actor Jason Isaacs has landed the lead role in the NBC detective series pilot, "REM," The Hollywood Reporter said.

Isaacs previously co-starred in the Showtime drama series "Brotherhood." His big-screen credits include "The Patriot," "Peter Pan," "Sweet November," "Green Zone" and the Harry Potter film franchise.

The Hollywood Reporter said "REM" is about a detective who finds himself living parallel lives after a car accident.
