Chef Richard Blais says it's a girl

ATLANTA, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- U.S. celebrity chef Richard Blais said he and his wife Jazmin are the parents of a new baby daughter.

Blais, who appears on the Bravo television series "Top Chef," tweeted Sunday that Embry Lotus Blais was born at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, where Blais owns the Flip Burger Boutique.

People magazine said Embry is the Blaises' second child. They have a 2-year-old daughter, Riley.

Blais appeared this week on CNN with some unusual Super Bowl snack recipes, including veal sweetbreads, People said.
