Betty White earned the SAG Award for Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her performance in "Hot in Cleveland."

"I cannot believe this," White said as she took the stage.

"And they had to get the old broad up those stairs and that wasn't easy. I have to say this is the biggest surprise I've ever had in this business. I am so lucky to be, at 89, working with -- you didn't applaud when I turned 40," she told the audience.

"No, but I'm working on the happiest set, I think, in the business. These ladies -- Valerie Bertinelli, Wendy Malick and Jane Leeves -- and the whole wonderful cast of 'Hot in Cleveland,' we can't wait to go to work every day. I know it sounds like a cliche to say we're family, but we're more than family. We fell in love the first day we worked together and it's still like that. ... I cannot say 'thank you' enough."
