'Glee,' 'Family' vie for producing honors

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- "30 Rock," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Glee," "Modern Family" and "The Office" were nominated Tuesday for the Producers Guild of America's Best Comedy award.

In the running for the guild's Best Drama honor are the producing teams of "Breaking Bad," "Dexter," "Lost," "Mad Men" and "True Blood."

The nominees for Best TV Movie or Miniseries are "Murder on the Orient Express," "Pillars of the Earth,"

"Temple Grandin," "The Pacific" and "You Don't Know Jack."

Vying for the Best Non-Fiction Television title are "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations," "Deadliest Catch,"

"Intervention," "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List" and "Undercover Boss."

Shortlisted for the award for Best Live Entertainment and Competition Television are the producers of "The Amazing Race," "The Colbert Report," "Project Runway," "Real Time with Bill Maher" and "Top Chef."

The Producers Guild Awards ceremony is to be held Jan. 22 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. Producer, director and writer Judd Apatow is to serve as host of the event.
