Blitzer will appear on Soul Train Awards

NEW YORK, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- CNN news anchor Wolf Blitzer will make a special presentation at the 2010 Soul Train Awards in Atlanta, television officials said.

The 2010 Soul Train awards ceremony will be held Nov. 10 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, and will be broadcast on Centric and BET at 9 p.m. on Nov. 28.

Oscar-nominated actors Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson will host the program, and musical legends Anita Baker and Ron Isley will be honored for their musical careers.

Blitzer will be joined by radio legends Steve Harvey, Tom Joyner and Michael Baisden, and musical heavyweights Doug E. Fresh, Erykah Badu, R. Kelly, Ne-Yo, Slick Rick, Ginuwine, Janelle Monae, Kid Capri and others.

Centric is a 24-hour music and entertainment channel aimed at black audiences, and BET Networks is a provider of music, news and public affairs television programming for African-American audiences.
