The show is drawing comparisons with ABC's "The View," though a CBS official has said "The Talk" is "not competing against them for ratings or guests."

This week "The View" welcomes the likes of Levi Johnston, Stephen Colbert, Arianna Huffington, Maria Shriver, Janet Napolitano, Rod Stewart and Elton John.

"The View," recorded in New York, airs at 11 a.m., while "The Talk" is shot in Los Angeles and will air at 2 p.m. on the East Coast and 1 p.m. on the West.
