LOS ANGELES, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Ali Fedotowsky chose Roberto Martinez at the end of Monday night's finale of the U.S. dating competition show "The Bachelorette."
Before making her announcement, Fedotowsky, 25, broke the news to the show's other finalist -- Chris Lambton, a 33-year-old contractor from Cape Cod, Mass. -- that she is in love with Martinez.
"I'm in such a weird place right now because this is coming to an end ... me and my family the other day, they loved you ... tomorrow, I'm at a point where ... I don't know what to do," UsMagazine.com quoted Fedotowsky as tearfully telling Lambton. "I feel like you have all the qualities that I want in somebody -- everything! You're one of the best men I've ever been able to meet in my whole life. I mean that."
But in the end, it was Martinez, a 26-year-old insurance agent from Charleston, S.C., who won her heart.
"I love Roberto," Fedotowsky said. "I love him. I've never ever in my whole life felt this good in a relationship."
