LOS ANGELES, June 15 (UPI) -- A Los Angeles judge has sentenced Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr. to two years in prison for stalking TV and radio personality Ryan Seacrest.

The Los Angeles Times said Uzomah, 25, was sentenced Monday for charges stemming from his 2009 arrest at the building where Seacrest tapes a daily television show for E!

Uzomah pleaded guilty last year to attacking the "American Idol" host's security guard and was ordered to stay away from Seacrest. However, he subsequently appeared at the radio station KIIS-FM in Burbank looking for Seacrest before he was ultimately arrested at the building where Seacrest tapes his TV show, the Times said.
