Xzibit, Tuohy join 'Makeover' team

LOS ANGELES, May 26 (UPI) -- U.S. rapper Xzibit and football mom Leigh Anne Tuohy are joining the design team of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" next season, ABC announced.

Season 8, which is to air in 2010-11, will also feature designer and reality television personality Jillian Harris, the network said.

Xzibit, Harris and Tuohy -- an interior decorator and adoptive mother of NFL star Michael Oher best known for being portrayed by Sandra Bullock in the movie "The Blind Side" -- have all appeared in previous episodes of the heartwarming home improvement show.

The designers returning for Season 8 will be team leader Ty Pennington, with Paul DiMeo, Paige Hemmis, Michael Moloney, Ed Sanders, Tracy Hutson, Eduardo Xol and John Littlefield, ABC said.
