LOS ANGELES, April 27 (UPI) -- Bret Michaels' publicist says the U.S. rocker and reality television personality is in stable condition Tuesday after a brain hemorrhage last week.
Michaels, 47, is best known as the front man for the band Poison. He is also a contestant on the current season of TV's "The Celebrity Apprentice."
He has been hospitalized in an intensive care unit since suffering a brain hemorrhage late Thursday. He reportedly was transported to the undisclosed medical facility after suffering a severe headache.
Michaels, who is diabetic, was also hospitalized earlier this month for an emergency appendectomy.
"He's still in the ICU, but he's stable," Michaels' representative told UsMagazine.com Tuesday.
He had been listed in critical condition until earlier Tuesday.
