Jon Gosselin, TLC settle lawsuits

NEW YORK, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Former reality television personality Jon Gosselin and the U.S. cable network TLC have settled their mutual lawsuits against each other.

"TLC has reached a settlement with Jon Gosselin and will be undertaking procedural steps to conclude the litigation," the network said in a statement issued to People.com Wednesday. "All terms of the settlement are confidential. The whole Gosselin family remain under contract with TLC. "

TLC sued Gosselin, one of the stars of its former hit reality program "Jon & Kate Plus 8," for breach of contract, while Gosselin later filed his own lawsuit, accusing TLC of speaking badly about him in public and preventing him from working on other projects.

"Jon & Kate" wrapped up last year after five seasons because Gosselin refused to allow his eight young children with his ex-wife Kate to be taped further by TLC.
