Ian Ziering announces engagement

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- U.S. actor Ian Ziering has announced on his Facebook page that he is engaged.

Ziering, 45, is best known for his work on TV's "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Dancing with the Stars."

"Her name is Erin Kristine Ludwig," Ziering told People.com via an e-mail about his new fiancee. "She's a nurse. We're planning a spring wedding and we've been together since Labor Day 2009."

Ziering was previously married to model-actress Nikki Schieler from 1997 to 2002.
