Sources: Cryer gets threat

BURBANK, Calif., Jan. 16 (UPI) -- Sources connected with "Two and a Half Men" said one of the U.S. TV series' stars, Jon Cryer, was the target of a threat.

The unnamed sources said Friday's unspecified threat that prompted increased security during the show's filming involved Cryer's 2004 divorce from his ex-wife, Sarah Trigger, TMZ.com reported Saturday.

Friday's filming of the CBS sitcom did not involve a live audience due to the security concerns, the sources said.

Specifics regarding the threat were not released.

An attorney for Trigger denied his client was behind the reported threat.

"There's no reason in the world why Sarah would do anything like that," attorney Vicki Greene told TMZ.com
