Underwood to guest-star on TV's 'Mother'

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Country singer Carrie Underwood has signed up to guest star on the U.S. comedy series, "How I Met Your Mother," CBS said Thursday.

Underwood is to appear on an episode of the show to air later this season.

"Carrie will play Tiffany, a gorgeous enigma who drives Ted crazy by keeping him on the hook," CBS said in a release.

Josh Radnor plays Ted.
