War receives star on Hollywood Walk of Fame (8 images)

Iconic band War was honored with the 2,814th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame during an unveiling ceremony in Los Angeles on Thursday. War, which includes members Lonnie Jordan, Lee Oskar, Howard E. Scott, Harold Ray Brown and Salvador Rodriguez are known for their songs "Low Rider," "Why Can't We Be Friends," "Spill the Wine" and "The Cisco Kid."
