'Molly's Game' premieres in New York City
"Molly's Game," starring Jessica Chastain, premiered at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square in New York City on Wednesday.
Jessica Chastain is in the starring role as Molly Bloom, an Olympic skier involved in high-stakes poker games.
To prepare for her role as Molly Bloom, Chastain told Deadline she had to studied the tricks and terms used in high-stakes poker.
The real-life Molly Bloom, who wrote a memoir on which the movie is based.
Jeremy Strong plays Dean Keith, Bloom's boss who introduces her to poker.
Michael Cera stars in the film as "Player X," a composite character based on several A-list Hollywood actors who play high-stakes poker games.
Amy Pascal is one of the producers of "Molly's Game."
Author and filmmaker Leopoldo Gout is the executive producer of the film.
