Mindy Kaling receives star on Hollywood Walk of Fame (8 images)

Actress and author Mindy Kaling, best known for her work on "The Office," "The Mindy Project," "Never Have I Ever" and "The Sex Lives of College Girls," was honored with the 2,800th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles during an unveiling ceremony on Tuesday. Kaling was joined by her father and her "Office" co-star B. J. Novak.
