Actress and writer Mindy Kaling is best known for her involvement on the U.S. adaptation of the British series "The Office," on which Kaling served as an actress, writer, executive producer and director. Kaling then translated her success into her own series, "The Mindy Project," which airs on Hulu. Kaling recently announced the sixth season of the series would be the last.
