Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi won Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Urban/Fusion Performance and Best Short Form Music Video Latin Grammys last night for his summer hit "Despacito." This brings his total of Latin Grammy wins to 22.

Columbian pop star Juanes was nominated in seven categories and took home the awards for Best Alternative Song for his work on Mon Laferte's song "Amárrame" and Best Pop/Rock album.

Alt-rapper Residente honors the people still suffering from hurricane damage and power loss in Puerto Rico in his opening performance of "Hijos del Canaveral." He told the crowd, "Puerto Rico doesn't need to rise up, because Puerto Rico has always been on its feet."

Alejandro Sanz dedicated his Person of the Year award and his performance to Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients and was joined onstage with 30 such individuals to sing with him. "We are 30, but there are 11 million [undocumented immigrants]," one of the DACA recipients said onstage. "We don't want any more raids or walls."
