Jessica Chastain plays the real-life character of Molly Bloom in "Molly's Game." The movie debuts January 5 in the United States.

British actor Idris Elba plays Chastain's lawyer, Charlie Jaffey, in the film.

"Molly's Game" is based on the real life of Molly Bloom, an Olympic-class skier who became known as the Poker Princess after running exclusive poker games for high-profile clients before being tracked down and arrested by the FBI.

"Molly's Game" marks the directorial debut of Alan Sorkin, who won an Oscar in 2011 for writing "The Social Network."
