Host Tracee Ellis Ross, honoree Diana Ross walk the red carpet at the AMAs (40 images)

Host and "Blackish" actress Tracee Ellis Ross arrives for the American Music Awards. Tracee is wearing a custom Stella McCartney dress with Tamara Mellon heels and had a total of ten looks throughout the night.

Ashlee Simpson, Jagger Snow Ross, Evan Ross, Diana Ross, Ross Naess, and Kimberly Ryan (L-R) walk the red carpet. Diana Ross was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award and performed her hits "I'm Coming Out" and "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" alongside her grandchildren. Ross also recieved a special message from former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle during the show.

Kelly Clarkson performed R.E.M.'s hit "Everybody Hurts" with Pink at the opening of the show and her latest track "Love So Soft" later in the night.
