Golden Globes: Cecil B. DeMille Award recipients through the years (28 images)

The 82nd Golden Globe Awards is set to take place on January 5, 2025. The ceremony will honor Viola Davis with the Cecil B. DeMille Award, which is given to those who make outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment. The award is named after filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille, who first accepted the honor in 1952. Walt Disney, Judy Garland, Bob Hope, James Stewart, Bette Davis and Lucille Ball were winners of the prestigious award in the early years. Here's a look back at previous Cecil B. DeMille Award winners.
