'Dunkirk' premiere in New York City (12 images)

Harry Styles and Cillian Murphy attended the "Dunkirk" premiere in New York City on July 18.

The WWII film, directed by Christopher Nolan, tells the story of Allied soldiers who were surrounded by the German Army on the beaches of Dunkirk, France, and their evacuation during Operation Dynamo.

The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 21.
