Amy Schumer, Spike Lee and more attended the Writers Guild Awards at the Edison Ballroom in New York City on March 5, 2023. The event was split between two ceremonies, with some awards handed out in Los Angeles. Lee was honored with the Ian McLellan Hunter Award for Career Achievement and Paul Simms received the Herb Sargent Award for Comedy Excellence.
