Adam Sandler honored with Mark Twain Prize for American Humor (14 images)

Adam Sandler was honored with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor during a gala event at the Kennedy Center in Washington on Sunday. Sandler's friends and former co-stars, including Ben Stiller, Drew Barrymore and Steve Buscemi attended the event. Sandler is a "Saturday Night Live" alumnus who has starred in hit comedies including "Happy Gilmore," "Billy Madison," "The Wedding Singer" and many more.
