Chris Brown accused of assaulting woman at nightclub

Chris Brown has been accused of hitting a 24-year-old woman at an Orange County nightclub Saturday night.

Deanna Gines told TMZ she was in the VIP section at the Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, Calif. where Brown had just performed, when the singer shoved her to the ground as he rushed to get a drink before the bar closed for the night.

According to Gines, the push was deliberate and she fell on her knees so hard that she might need surgery.

The Los Angeles Police Department admitted that someone had indeed filed a police report for assault inside the club, but refused to disclose the names in the report.

Chris Brown's rep, Nicole Perna, told TMZ, he was "unaware of the incident, as is Chris' lawyer and his entire team. He was in a great mood after Powerhouse." He added that "None of this makes sense."
