'Promise' by BTS' Jimin hits No.1 on iTunes in 51 countries

March 7 (UPI) -- Bangtan Boys (BTS) member Jimin's song "Promise" has topped iTunes' Top Songs charts in 51 countries around the world, the house of BTS, Big Hit Music production, reported on Tuesday

At 9 a.m. this morning, Seoul time, the title was at the top of these charts in Sweden, Norway, Greece and Finland. It had been uploaded for free in December 2018 on the SoundCloud audio distribution platform.

The song "Christmas Love," released on Christmas Eve 2020, meanwhile, topped the Top Songs charts in 17 countries, including Argentina, Singapore, Japan and Ecuador.

Jimin will release his very first solo album on March 24. The tracklist will include six songs.
