June 8 (UPI) -- Foo Fighters will honor late bandmate Taylor Hawkins with a pair of tribute concerts.
The rock band will pay tribute to Hawkins, who died at age 50 in March, at the shows in September.
Foo Fighters will perform Sept. 3 at Wembley Stadium in London and Sept. 27 at Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Tickets go on sale June 17.
"For our dear friend, our badass bandmate, our beloved brother... Foo Fighters and The Hawkins family bring you the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts," the band wrote on Instagram.
The concerts will celebrate "the life, music and love" of Hawkins, who died March 25 while the Foo Fighters were on tour in Columbia. Hawkins' cause of death has not been announced.
The Foo Fighters and a lineup of yet-to-be announced artists will perform the songs Hawkins "fell in love with, and the ones he brought to life," according to a press release.
Foo Fighters canceled the remainder of their tour following Hawkins' death.
The band most recently released the album Medicine at Midnight in February 2021.
