Twice's Tzuyu covers Taylor Swift in 'Melody Project' teaser

June 22 (UPI) -- Taiwanese singer Tzuyu is giving a glimpse of her new solo project.

The 22-year-old K-pop star, a member of the South Korean girl group Twice, released a teaser Tuesday for Twice's new Melody Project.

The video features a clip of Tzuyu covering "Me!," a song originally by Taylor Swift and Panic! At the Disco's Brendon Urie.

The new Melody Project is set for release June 28.

Previous Melody Project releases include Jihyo's cover of "A Late Night of 1994" by Jang Hye-jin and Nayeon's cover of "Love is Everything" by Ariana Grande. The projects showcase the Twice members' solo abilities.

Twice consists of Tzuyu, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun and Chaeyoung. The group released the EP Taste of Love and a music video for "Alcohol-Free" this month.

On Tuesday, Twice shared a behind-the-scenes video that shows the making-of their "Alcohol-Free" music video.
