Todrick Hall releases new single 'Boys in the Ocean'

June 4 (UPI) -- Todrick Hall released on Friday new single "Boys in the Ocean" from his upcoming album titled Femuline.

Hall uploaded a lyric video for the dance track on YouTube. The song can be streamed on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Deezer and Pandora.

"I'll take you where the sun just can't be hotter/ No commotion baby, let's escape the noise/ I know you want to kiss me underwater/ In slow motion baby/ Don't you know there's boys in the ocean," Hall sings.

Femuline is set to be released on Tuesday in honor of Price Month. The album will contain 14 tracks and feature collaborations from Chaka Khan, Brandy, Tyra Banks, TS Madison and Nicole Scherzinger.

Hall last released the EP Quarantine Queen in April 2020.

"It has taken me years and years, even after coming out, to be this comfortable embracing my masculine and feminine sides. I'm so excited to give people permission to live as their fullest and truest selves with this music that I handcrafted specifically for the gay community. But I also feel that my music will resonate with people of all ages groups and from all backgrounds," Hall said in a statement about the album.

Hall rose to fame on American Idol, has starred in Broadway productions of Kinky Boots, Chicago and Waitress, appeared multiple times on RuPaul's Drag Race and has collaborated with Taylor Swift on her music video for "You Need to Calm Down."
