June 3 (UPI) -- Taylor Swift dropped a '90s-inspired remix to the track "Willow" on Thursday to thank her fans for record-breaking vinyl sales of her Evermore album.
"You guys went and did the nicest thing this week and broke the record for biggest vinyl sales week.. like ever? NOW WE DAHNCE," Swift wrote in an Instagram post. "The willow (90's trend remix) is a thank you from me, available today only on my site."
In three days after the May 28 release of the vinyl edition of Evermore, the album sold over 40,000 copies in the U.S., according to Billboard. The album set the record for the biggest sales week for a vinyl album since MRC Data began tracking sales in 1991.
It's presumed Evermore's vinyl sales sum will grow by the end of the tracking week on Thursday.
"There's always champagne problems & every other song on evermore so you can get deep in your deepest feelings," Swift added on her Instagram post.
Evermore was initially released digitally and through streamers on Dec. 11, 2020. Evermore's vinyl sales numbers were helped greatly by five months of banked pre-orders when the vinyl was announced in mid-December.
On Swift's site, fans can order a digitally autographed edition of Evermore with the "Willow" remix until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday in the United States only.
