Harry Styles befriends fish in 'Adore You' music video

Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Harry Styles is back with a new music video.

The 25-year-old British singer released a Wes Anderson-esque video Friday for his single "Adore You."

"Adore You" opens with the trailer Styles shared last week. The video takes place on the fictional island of Eroda, or "Adore" spelled backward. Styles plays The Boy, a "peculiar" young man whose bright smile alienates him from the small town.

"Everyone was always frowning, which they referred to as 'resting fish face,'" the narrator says.

The video shows Styles rescue a fish that is also trying to find its "place in the world." To his surprise, the fish grows and grows, and the townsfolk ultimately help Styles return the giant creature back to the ocean.

"At that moment, with the entire town united in putting a fish back into the ocean, the clouds broke, the sun shined down on the isle of Eroda, melting every frown into the unmistakable shape... of a whale's tail," the narrator says.

"Adore You" appears on Styles' forthcoming album Fine Line. The album includes the previously released singles "Lights Up" and "Watermelon Sugar," and is scheduled for release Dec. 13.

Styles showed off the vinyl version of Fine Line in a video Thursday. The vinyl includes a two-sided poster of Styles -- one side shows the singer nude and the other shows him wearing suspenders.

Styles will promote Fine Line on his Love tour in 2020. The North American leg of the tour begins June 26 in Philadelphia, Pa.
