Zac Brown pays homage to the '80s, 'Ghost' in 'Swayze' music video

Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Zac Brown goes old school in his latest music video for "Swayze," a single from the singer's first solo album The Controversy.

The comedic clip, released on Tuesday, features television personality and survivalist Jake Nodar dancing as part of a workout video with low-quality footage.

Nodar also recreates the famous pottery scene from 1990 film Ghost which starred the late Patrick Swayze, the subject of the song.

"I'm just saying, I'm so Swayze/ 'Bout to ghost on you," Brown sings.

Brown is best known as the frontman of the Zac Brown Band. The 41-year-old released The Controversy in September.
