Tickets go on sale for the general public on Friday at 10 a.m. local time through Live Nation. Eli Young Band and Travis Tritt will serve as special guests on select dates.

The farewell tour was first started in 2018.

"We've said we want to play every venue and market we've ever visited around the world one last time and even some places we haven't, so we get to see all of Skynyrd Nation," lead singer Johnny Van Zant said in a statement. "We are getting close!"

Lynyrd Skynyrd, whose first album was released in 1973, have featured a different lineup after frontman Ronnie Van Zant, guitarist Steve Gaines, backup singer Cassie Gaines and more died in a 1977 plane crash.
