Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Singers Alicia Keys, Megan Thee Stallion and Rosalía will be honored at a Billboard event this month.

Billboard announced Tuesday that Keys, 38, Megan Thee Stallion, 24, and Rosalía, 26, will receive awards at the Billboard Women in Music celebration Dec. 12 in Los Angeles.

Keys will be honored with the American Express Impact Award for her work with She is the Music, a movement to empower female creators in the music industry. Keys helped launch the organization in 2018.

Megan Thee Stallion will receive the Powerhouse Award for her hit songs, which include "Hot Girl Summer." Rosalía will be honored with the Rising Star Award for her influence on today's mainstream music.

"Women in Music is a celebration of artists and executives who are changing the world through their work. We are excited to honor Alicia Keys, Rosalía and Meghan Thee Stallion, whose singular visions and voices are shifting our culture while inspiring fans to stay true to themselves," Billboard editorial director Hannah Karp said.

Billboard confirmed the news in a tweet Tuesday.

"@aliciakeys, @rosaliavt & Meghan @theestallion will be honored at this year's #BBWomenInMusic event," the post reads.

Billboard previously announced that Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Alanis Morissette, Nicki Minaj, Brandi Carlile and Desiree Perez will be honored at the event. Singer Hayley Kiyoko will host the ceremony.

Keys is working on her seventh studio album. She will host the 2020 Grammy Awards in January.
